Four members of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce were recently elected to three-year terms on the organization’s Board of Directors. A total of six individuals ran for the four seats.

Winning re-election to the board were Rosanne Nagy of Foresight Financial Planners, Inc. and Colleen Christmann of the West Seneca Central Schools Academy Programs. Also winning seats on the board were Joseph Griffin of Chakra Communications, Inc. and Amy Thompson of Al-Ross.

Nagy, a vice president with Foresight Financial Planners who oversees the company’s Medicare division, also serves as secretary of the Chamber board, is an advisor with the West Seneca Aktion Club and a volunteer for the West Seneca Kiwanis Club. She is also a past board member and secretary of the Sisters Hospital Nursing School Alumni Association.

Christmann, who serves on numerous committees for the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce, is also a National Academy Foundation member and WNY Regional NAF vice chair. She is a member of the Niagara Frontier Education Counsel board, the Junior Achievement of WNY board, the Business Teachers Association and the West Seneca Administrators Association Benefit Trust Committee. Christmann is also director of the West Seneca Academy Program’s five advisory boards.

Griffin, director of operations at Chakra Communications, Inc. in Lancaster, currently oversees all operations and functions in the company’s production, sales, creative, human resources and print departments. Active in the marketing production and graphics industry for more than 30 years, he serves on the ECC Visual Communications Technology Board and is a volunteer and fundraising coordinator for Friends of Night People.

Thompson is or has been active in numerous West Seneca organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, CERT, Industrial Development Committee and the Comprehensive Plan Committee. She was also very active in the Potter County, Pennsylvania community prior to moving to Western New York.

The Chamber would like to thank Thomas A. Deuschle, Attorney at Law, for overseeing the Chamber’s election process and the counting of votes.
