BEC fraud has resulted in more losses than any other type of fraud in the U.S\, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). This serious and growing fraud has tripled over the last three years and jumped 50% in the first three months of 2019 compared to the same period in 2018. DESCRIPTION:Award-winning journalist Brian Meyer will be the guest speaker as the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce kicks off the 2020 GEICO Power Lunch Series on Wednesday Feb. 19. The event will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the large Community Room in the West Seneca Community Center & Library located at 1300 Union Road. \nMeyer\, well-known for his work at WBEN\, WBFO and The Buffalo News\, will tackle the topic of crisis management. \nDoors will open at 11:45 a.m. and a light lunch will be provided for attendees. Each event int he series will also include Q&A with the speaker and an opportunity to network with other guests.
