Saturday, August 17 kicks off the first of five DOG YOGA sessions coming to the SPCA Serving Erie County’s 300 Harlem Road, West Seneca shelter.

The classes, approximately one hour in length, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturdays, August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16, and December 21. Classes are $25 per person.

During each class, dogs from the SPCA’s Paws for Love pet therapy program will be on hand to help participants relax, rejuvenate, and restore!

The classes for men and women ages 14 and older (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) will offer intermediate-level yoga instruction by local power yoga instructor William Cragun. Participants must bring their own yoga mats, but not their own dogs!

Pre-registration is required, and there will be 30 spots available per class. Dog Yoga registration is available online only. Those interested can visit http://YourSPCA.org/DogYoga for more information and to register.
