The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce will hold its next one-minute networking event from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 — National Chamber of Commerce Day — at Birdies Bank Shot, 5700 Seneca St., West Seneca. Doors will open at 8:45 a.m. and light refreshments will be provided. The event is open to both Chamber members and nonmembers, and reservations are required. Please note that this event will be limited to 25 participants.
At these casual, comfortable and productive meetings, participants have approximately one minute to introduce themselves and give a brief update on their business or organization. In addition to having a one-minute spotlight, attendees have extra time to network with other business and organizational leaders following the meeting. Participants are invited to bring business cards and/or promotional items to share with guests.
Additionally, guests will be asked to consider bringing a holiday donation for West Seneca Cares, serving seniors in local nursing homes, or Bonnets for Babies, dedicated to keeping little ones warm year-round. Please contact the Chamber for more information. Items for West Seneca Cares might include new throws/blankets, toiletries, stuffed animals, wrapped candies, pens and colored pencils, activity and coloring books, and crossword and word search books. Items for Bonnets for Babies might include children’s winter boots, coats, jackets, blankets, etc. The greatest need is for ages two to six.
To RSVP for the Oct. 21 networking event at West Seneca’s newest attraction, please call the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce at (716) 674-4900 or email cforsythe@westseneca.org.
