The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the GEICO Local Office in West Seneca will once again team up to offer a series of six lunchtime events in 2020 featuring a variety of interesting business speakers. The GEICO Power Lunch Series will be open to both Chamber members and nonmembers, and all events will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the large Community Room in the West Seneca Community Center & Library located at 1300 Union Road.
Kicking off the speaker series on Wednesday, Feb. 19, will be award-winning journalist Brian Meyer will who tackle the topic of crisis management. This is a return engagement for Meyer, who last spoke on the topic of working with the media to forge an effective media strategy.
On Wednesday, April 15, incoming West Seneca Supervisor Gary Dickson will discuss his first 100 days in office. Additional speakers in the series (June 17, Aug. 19, Oct. 21 and Dec. 16) will be announced at a later date.
“We are extremely grateful to Scott Kaltman and his staff at the GEICO Local Office in West Seneca for once again stepping up to the plate to sponsor our popular lunch series in 2020,” said Joe Kirchmyer, executive director of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. “With the addition of our new Bryant & Stratton College Breakfast Networking Series in 2020, we are now able to offer speaker and networking opportunities for Chamber members and future members on a monthly basis.”
Light refreshment will be provided at each lunchtime meeting, and each event will also include Q&A with the speaker and an opportunity to network with other attendees. While the events are free and open to the public, seating will be limited and reservations are required.
