The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce will host its 33rd annual golf tournament on Thursday, Aug. 8, at Chestnut Hill Country Club, 1330 Broadway, Darien Center. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start set for 10 a.m.

“We like to change the venue every few years to give our golfers a change of scenery and an opportunity to experience a different course,” said Joe Kirchmyer, executive director of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. “As a nonprofit organization, this is our largest fundraising event of the year and it’s very important to us that our participants and sponsors have a great time networking and playing 18 holes. We truly appreciate the support we receive from the community as it helps us provide year-round programming utilized by local businesses, organizations and residents.”

In addition to a traditional scramble format, the outing will feature lunch at the turn, a steak dinner, door prizes, a sports memorabilia silent auction, split club and other raffles, beverage carts on the course, and several contests including closest to the pin, longest drive and putting. There will also be prizes for the golfers with the best team score, as well as other surprises throughout the day!

The cost is just $125 per golfer, and foursomes are encouraged. Please note that you do not have to be a Chamber member to participate.

Numerous sponsorship levels priced at $100, $500, $1,000, $2,000 and $4,000 are available; $1,000 and $2,000 sponsorships include one foursome, and the $4,000 naming rights sponsorship includes two foursomes!

The Chamber is also looking for prize donations such as gift cards, silent auction items, big ticket raffle items, and bottles of liquor or wine. Please contact the Chamber for more information.
